ESTABLISHING THE CHARLES ROWNEY
SCHOLARSHIP FUND
The Charles Rowney Scholarship Fund is being founded to support those who are seeking an education that bridges science, technology, and engineering in support of sustainable water resources.
Our Mission
To establish a permanent fund under the Urban Watersheds Research Institute (a 501(c)3 charitable organization) to honor the work and memory of Charles Rowney, whose tireless efforts to support the Institute and advance technologies to enable scientists and engineers to better solve the challenges of sustainability in water resources worldwide.
UWRI is seeking individual/family and corporate/company/organization donations. All donors will be recognized. Significant donors (Founder, Advocate, Supporter, Patron, and Sustaining Givers) will be recognized on the scholarship fund’s website with their name and/or company/organization logo and in news releases sent by UWRI. Donors can request to remain anonymous.
Online donations and an opportunity to express thoughts on Charles’ passing can be made by clicking the donate button*.
